Meet Our Fall 2017 Interns!

Welcome Raisa!

The team at Liquid Creative is happy to introduce one of our new interns for the fall semester, Raisa Khan! A South Florida native, Raisa is student at the University of Florida double majoring in Marketing and Economics.

This past summer, Raisa spent a lot of her time researching and exploring what the field of marketing is all about. After switching her major from Health Sciences to Marketing and Economics, she strived to gain some insight into the different types of careers that would be available to her in the future. After looking into various ad and marketing agencies and the incredible work they consistently create, she was convinced that this creativity-based industry was the right fit for her!

At UF, she is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America, a staff member for March for Babies, a mentor in the Freshman Leadership Experience, and the fundraising director for the Indian Students Association. She also hopes to study abroad in either China or Spain.

In her free time, Raisa likes to hang out and grab Lollicup with her friends, as well as trying out new makeup looks, and pinning different meal preps and exercise routines on Pinterest.”

Fun Facts About Raisa:

  • She is Bengali, and born in Canada; therefore, a dual citizen of Canada and the United States!
  • Having her nails painted makes her feel like she has her life together (even when she probably doesn’t).
  • Her top three favorite foods (since she can’t pick just one!) include: hot wings, hummus, and Fuji apples.

Welcome Andrea!

The team at Liquid Creative is excited to introduce our newest intern, Andrea Dela Cruz! Originally from Lecanto, Florida Andrea is a senior Marketing student at the University of Florida who will be graduating in Spring 2018.

During her time in New York, Andrea drank at least 100 cups of coffee!

Andrea is involved with many organizations on campus including The Retail Society and American Marketing Association . Just recently, she was awarded the prestigious opportunity to become a member of UF’s Miller Retail Center Student Advisory Board. Helping others is one of many things Andrea is also passionate about, and she enjoys serving as a Career and Academics Peer Mentor for UF’s Warrington College of Business.

Previously, Andrea was a beauty advisor for Kohl’s in Gainesville, and she has now started to do freelance beauty consulting. She currently holds a position as a “Style Guru” for CollegeFashionista – a beauty/fashion blog run by college students who share a love for fashion and beauty.
