Thanks to their sleek new website, rock-solid lead-generation strategy, and powerful brand identity, Champion was able to attract new clients and boost their sales.

Overall Website Sessions

309% increase in overall websites sessions, year-over-year. This means the website was visited 3x times more than in the previous year.

Social Actions

1,487% increase in social interactions, year-over-year, such as likes, comments, follows, and interactions.

Form Fills

Doubled the amount of website forms submitted, year-over-year. This is the amount of people who visited the website and decided to contact Champion directly.

Challenges

Champion certainly lives up to its name, and with their new growth they needed a new look: a brand alignment, website refresh, and promotional matrials to get the word out about their latest triumphs. Creative Springs got to work.

Brand Integration

Champion Chair acquired three other companies, all of which had their own existing branding. These companies and their product lines needed to be integrated into the Champion brand portfolio — without spooking those companies’ loyal customer base.

It was up to us to play matchmaker and preserve everyone’s stellar reputations while we refined Champion’s brand identity.

Lead Generation & Handling

Champion wanted to get more customers (who doesn’t) and also improve their nurture process. We wanted to make sure we kept Champion’s well-developed visual identity intact.

We made strategic adjustments to their website to better track, curate, and generate leads, and we were careful to preserve their rich brand history throughout our endeavors.

How We Did It

Checking Out the Competition

This discovery meeting was a sit-down with Champion’s VP of Sales, the entire sales team, and the marketing team.

We talked about everything. Who Champion is, who Champion wants to be, if they were a cartoon character which one would they be (Bugs Bunny), fondest memories, latest wins, are they more huggers or hand-shakers…you know, the real questions. Seriously, though, these questions are like icebreakers: They open the door to candid discussions about who the client wants to be and the image they want to present.

Gearing Up

As with every client, we started digging into what makes Champion tick — and why everyone needs to know how awesome they are.

We studied their products, their previous campaigns, and their ideal consumer.

Finding the Groove

Remember, these aren’t just any recliners we’re talking about. These are innovative medical seating solutions made by a reputable company. And these chairs can literally save lives, improve health outcomes for patients, and increase the financial bottom line for medical facilities around the world.

Even so, Champion’s ideal clients are busy people who hear a lot of noise. We had multiple discussions about how to highlight Champion’s competitive edge, how to go beyond a brand merger and break through the babble.

With reams of research at our disposal, we developed a thoughtful marketing strategy to leverage positive change for new growth.

Ta-da!

Once everything was sharpened and ready for action, it was time to affirm Champion’s winning status.

We improved their website with fresh copy, a streamlined user journey, and integration with their email and social campaigns.

We created a powerful new content structure for their site to showcase all their new brands.

We sweetened up their website for those wily search engines too.

And, of course, we made sure all of their social platforms, landing pages, and ads were ready to rock. (Spoiler alert: They rocked.)

Animated Logo

A dynamic company such as Champion needs a dynamic logo to match. We refreshed their wordmark with some animated energy

Website Refresh

Champion’s website needed to be restructured to appeal to their target audience — what would make sense to healthcare facility managers and medical furniture vendors? It was our job to figure that out and integrate the new sub-brands as well.

Inbound Marketing Strategy

There are a lot of ways to meet people: Sometimes, you go out of your way to introduce yourself to someone, sometimes you meet someone somewhere and hit it off, and sometimes colleagues turn into lifelong friends.

The same goes for brands. We meet them all the time, in all different settings and predicaments. It’s important to make a good impression: Be sincere, thoughtful, and not too needy.

With Champion, we got the opportunity to really think about how we wanted people to meet the brand and there were several preferences — word of mouth (introduced by a friend), mingling via social media, and a friendly nod in Google search results.
